  • Roof Coupling Plates
Roof Coupling Plates are the perfect solution for rooftop penetration of electrical conduit. A great alternative to DIY roof plates made in the shop....

  • Orbit Industries' Roof Coupling Plates (RCP) provide installers with a fast, efficient solution for routing conduit through rooftop penetrations. Consisting of a galvanized steel base plate and a fused, rigid coupling, RCPs are ideal for supporting raceway stubs on building rooftops.

    Other advantages include:

    • sturdy design eliminates conduit movement 5' above & below roof line
    • route most raceway below the roof, rather than above
    • less up-sizing of conductors and raceways due to direct sunlight
    • the freedom to position conduit stubs up-close to equipment
    • less raceways & slotted channel on the roof for inspectors to scrutinize
    • free-stand cutoff switches atop a single conduit without additional bracing, unlike DIY plates
    • the ability to transition different conduit types (ex. GRC conduit to MC cable)

Roof Coupling Plates are available in all major trade sizes from 1/2" up to 2". ETL Listed, Patent Pending.

  • Universal Mounting Adjustable Fire Alalm Box
Hassle-free way to flush mount fire alarm horn strobes, pull stations & CO2 detectors in any wall or ceiling. No extension ring required!...

  • Orbit Industries' Universal Mounting Adjustable Fire Alarm Box (FA-UMAB) consists of a 4" Square, 3-1/2" Deep Box with a patent pending built-in adapter for mounting in a variety of different applications.

The box portion is painted red for easy circuit identification and includes 12 side, and 4 bottom 1/2" and 3/4" Concentric KOs. This makes the box adaptable for multiple wire and cable terminations from every direction.

The FA-UMAB box depth is enough to accomodate any model of life safety device, without an extension ring, including:

    • pull stations
    • speaker strobes
    • horn strobes
    • smoke & CO2 detectors
    • heat detectors

The built-in adapter features guided slots, which allow installers to adjust the box from flush up to 1-1/2". Adjustment is accomplished by loosening two outside screws. Box depth is easily adjustable, even after the fire alarm is fitted into the box.

The FA-UMAB can be mounted direct-to-stud via mounting holes in the adapter. For between stud or ceiling applications, pair the FA-UMAB with Orbit's Simple Support Bracket (model SSB).

    UL Listed. Patent Pending.

  • Height Adjustable Box Installation Template
The HABIT is a reusable, adjustable tool with a magnetic platform that can be set to a desired height for fast, consistent box & bracket installations....

  • Orbit Industries' exclusive Height Adjustable Box Installation Template (HABIT) is a reusable tool that allows installers to consistently mount boxes or brackets at a uniform height. Its adjustable platform is also magnetic, so it holds tight to metallic box & bracket assemblies as they are secured to studs. The platform is adjustable from 0" to 21", then locked at the desired height via wing nuts.

A second HABIT can also be stacked on top of the first - without tools - allowing installers to raise the second platform as high as 49". This stackability offers many benefits. For instance, receptacles can be secured with the lower HABIT, while NEC-required "First Means of Support" is secured with the top HABIT - in half the number of movements it would take to install both separately. The HABIT eliminates the need for more costly Kick-Brackets, reducing the handling cost on jobs and is compatible with every Orbit stud bracket. Patent Pending. The more you use it, the more you save!

  • True 5" Square Box
With 75 cubic inches of volume, Orbit True 5" Steel Boxes are made for 21st century high-performance copper & fiber optic cabling systems....

  • With twice the capacity of 4" square boxes, Orbit Industries' True 5" Square Boxes and Accessories (T5 Series) provide the space to make wiring and cable terminations easier than ever! Built to exceed the demanding specs of modern-day hospital, school, and government projects - Orbit True 5" Boxes also prepare facilities for future expansions and upgrades.

Contractors can now pair 5" boxes with ordinary 4" mud rings, when used in conjunction with Orbit Fixed Position Mounting Brackets (FMB) or Flat Bracket Family systems. EC firms can standardize on 4" rings, which will save thousands of dollars in material costs each year!

    Orbit's T5 boxes feature:

    • all models feature two 2" KOs
    • model #B-T5B features blue factory finish for easy identification of hi-speed cable circuits
    • model #T5B-50/200 features twelve 1/2" and 3/4" KOs - a great alternative to 6" x 6" NEMA boxes for "home run" applications

    UL Listed.
