Police Security® Flashlights has reinvented the Headlamp category with its patent-pending new series, MORF™ Removables.  With this new MORF B300 model, when attached, the headlamp allows the user to work hands-free. When the head is detached, it becomes a hand-held rechargeable flashlight or magnetic work light, leaving a secondary light in the headlamp base.  The user now has TWO light sources, no shadows.  As a single headlamp, the MORF B300 outputs 300 lumens.  When the head is detached, the hand-help rechargeable headlamp is 100 lumens, leaving the base (secondary headlamp) with a light output of 50 lumens. The MORF B300 Model is backed by Police Security’s Lifetime Warranty.  It is tested and rated to ANSI/FL1 standards.  This revolutionary lighting system is perfect for the professional and home improvement enthusiast.

    The First Removable Headlamp/Flashlight System

Police Security Flashlights, a division of LB Marketing Inc, has launched the MORF Removable Headlamps, a new category of patented wearable lights with a detachable headlamp. It becomes a hand-held flashlight or magnetic mountable light, leaving a secondary light in the headlamp base…eliminating all shadows.

Founder and Inventor Douglas Kaye explains how and why he developed the MORF Removables product line. “As an avid craftsman, I created the concept during a home improvement project. I was working in a tight dark area in my basement crawl space. Using one of my company’s Police Security LED flashlights and wearing one of our high lumen headlamps, I found myself alternating between the two to keep the area lit yet also juggling my hand tools at the same time.  It occurred to me that the headlamp and flashlight could be merged into one functional concept.”

The company is launching a series of ‘Removables’ that include the Aluminum Morf 300 Lumen, a Wide Beam Morf 200 Lumen headlamp, a more compact Morf 250 Lumen version, rubberized weatherproof Morf 250 Lumen, and a Morf Lantern Removable.

    The Technology:

The Morf Removable series headlamps are powered by high-quality alkaline batteries. The Removable flashlights are powered by varying power levels of lithium polymer batteries. Product specifications are available on the company website at policesecurity.com
