Border States was established in 1952 in Grand Forks, North Dakota, to serve the electric utility market. We have grown from the original two owners to a company with approximately 2,600 employees and a branch network in 25 states. The company now provides products and services to construction, industrial and utility customers.
Electrical Wholesaling magazine has ranked Border States as the 6th largest independent electrical distributor in the United States.
