FLIR is known for thermal imaging tools to inspect electrical assets, now required under NFPA 70B in the National Electrical Code. FLIR pioneered thermography in 1960 and have been the world leader ever since, with over 2 million systems in operation and a global network of sales, service, and support offices. FLIR has also branched out into test & measurement tools under the FLIR T&M and Extech brands, as well as acoustic imaging for detection of compressed air and gas leaks and partial discharge. FLIR Test & Measurement tools deliver industry-leading capabilities and ruggedness. FLIR T&M tools with Infrared Guided Measurement (IGM) provide a thermal camera built-in to a digital multimeter or clamp meter, speeding up equipment inspection and troubleshooting while improving worker safety against arc flash.
